Scrub Capital Community — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect from the Scrub Collaborative (the “Community”), how we use it, and how you can request that your information be deleted. By joining the Community, you confirm your understanding and agreement with the following.

1. Information we have

When you join and participate in the Community, we may collect:

• Account and profile information you provide (name, email, professional background, and any other details you add to your application and profile).
• Content you share, including public messages, posts, files, and reactions.
• Participation information related to Community activities, including group pitches, diligence discussions, surveys, and events.
• Basic usage data (such as when you join, log in, or interact).

2. How we use that information

Scrub Capital uses this information to improve the Community experience and support our investment strategy. This information supports Community programming, discussions, and facilitated connections, guiding us to grow in areas where the Community seems most passionate.

We do not and will never sell your personal information.

3. Your right to request deletion

If you choose to leave the Community you can also request the deletion of your personal information by taking the following steps, which are subject to the limitations in Section 4.

1. Email privacy@scrubcapital.com with the subject line “Requesting Data Deletion.”
2. Include your full name and the email address or Slack handle associated with your Community account so we can verify your identity.
3. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless we need to retain certain information as described in Section 4.

When we process your request, we will remove your profile from the Scrub Collaborative database, deactivate your Slack account, and remove you from future communications. You may also remove yourself from the Slack workspace, Google Groups, and Luma calendar at any time through those products.

4. Information we may retain

The right to deletion does not apply to information collected or shared as part of group pitches, diligence processes, or investment evaluation activities. Because this information forms part of our business and investment records, we retain it even after your account is deleted.

In addition, we may retain limited information where necessary to:

• Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, audit, or recordkeeping obligations;
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
• Enforce our agreements or protect the security and integrity of the Community; and
• Maintain routine system backups, from which residual copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten in the ordinary course.

We may also retain information in aggregated or de-identified form that does not reasonably identify you.

5. Content shared with others

The Community is a shared space. Content you post may be seen, saved, copied, screenshotted, or shared by other members. Once other members have accessed your content, we cannot retrieve, control, or delete copies they may retain, and deletion of your account does not remove such copies.

6. Third-party services

Scrub Capital uses several third-party services to support the Community and identify expertise that shapes investment theses and helps our portfolio companies. These third-party services are governed by their respective privacy policies and terms, which are separate from this policy and outside our control.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Community or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent version. Your continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
